When Imagination Box Co. began, we researched many different companies and suppliers for our material. We decided on corrugated board for our toys because it is a safe, green, reliable material and the corrugated industry has been on the environmental bandwagon for over twenty years!

Our cardboard toys are 100% Made in the USA, and we are fortunate that we can purchase our materials locally, only seventy miles from our home! We frequently visit the place where our toys are manufactured to make sure that our toys are produced with environmentally safe and sound practices. Our commitment to quality and durability is passed on to you, so you can be sure you are receiving a high quality, sturdy, and eco-friendly playhouse when you purchase from us!

Recently, congress enacted a new law called the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, or CPSIA, that requires all toy manufacturers to ensure their products fall within safe guidelines (300ppm) for lead. We are naturally CPSIA compliant by default (we are under 100ppm), plus all the inks and dyes on our toys are water based - even better!
